He has also received the Grand Cross of the Brazilian Foreign Ministry (Order of Rio Branco), as well as; Brazilian Orders of Merit from the Navy, Anny, Air Force, the Ministry of Defense and the Joint Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, among other decorations.
